'Lighting up Brentwood' and 'stars of the future'

#teamDSE smashed it! Lyrical solo placed 3rd out of 14 and the dancer was the youngest in her category (12-16yrs). Contemporary trio placed 2nd, we are off to Blackpool for the national final. 

Tate - Street Dance and Commercial Teacher

Tate is an experienced teacher in all three disciplines, Drama, Dance and Singing. She is very excited to be joining the Dance Space Essex team, responsible for the Street and Commercial Dance.

Tate started her career as a Saturday School kid at Italia Conti before being awarded a full scholarship to attend the Theatre Arts School then receiving a DaDa to attend the three year professional Performing Arts Course in London.

Tate hopes to be able to relay her professional experiences and knowledge of the entertainment industry through her classes and workshops, alongside pursuing her performance career.

Whilst training and since graduating Tate has acquired various professional theatre credits such as: The World debut of ‘All or Nothing’ on Brighton Beach, ‘Dick Wittington’ at the Barbican Theatre, ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at the Towngate Theatre Basildon, ‘Classical Spectacular’ at the Royal Albert Hall, A Dance Soloist at the National History Museum, featured dancer in ‘Made2Move’ Dance Company directed by Gregory Apostilidis, and most recently has worked with Richard Peakman core creative at both Qdos Entertainment/P&O cruises on ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ Theatre Royal, Plymouth – as ensemble member and also cover ‘Princess’.

Tate’s television credits include featured dancer and actress on ITV daytime television, Loose Women and ITV This Morning. 

 

DSE perform at 'Light up Brentwood'

Dance Space Essex were thrilled to perform at 'Light up Brentwood' on November 26th. The senior drama group performed 'Red Hot Cinders' a mini rhyming pantomime, two of the G1 Ballet students danced a duet to 'Let it Snow' and our little tapper made some noise to 'Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer,' it was fabulous festive day, #teamDSE!
